Facilitating, Presenting and Community-building.
Presenting & Public Speaking.
Devon is a seasoned presenter and keynote speaker, offering talks and workshops on climate justice, gender equity, caregiver advocacy, and inclusive workplace culture. Highlights include presentations at the Arts Midwest Conference, the Parent Artist Advocacy League (PAAL) Inaugural Summit, and ongoing engagements as a trained Climate Reality Leader, where she delivers public talks on the climate crisis and collective solutions. She has also served as a co-host and interviewer for national convenings, including TCG’s Climate Summits and the Rebuilding Our Houses working groups focused on post-COVID audience engagement.
Program Strategy & Evaluation.
At Theatre Communications Group (TCG), Devon led multiple initiatives to assess and evolve the organization’s programming. She co-facilitated a strategic audit in partnership with Nonprofit Finance Fund to evaluate ROI across TCG’s offerings, developed internal success metrics using The Social Profit Handbook methodology, and trained cross-departmental staff in a values-based program development framework. She also designed and led a yearlong, Design Thinking–inspired process to reimagine the TCG National Conference in response to shifts in the theatre field post-COVID.
Community-Building & Dialogue Facilitation.
From national convenings to local initiatives, Devon excels at cultivating spaces for connection, reflection, and collective growth. She facilitated “How We Show Up” and “How We Move Forward” community grounding sessions at TCG’s National Conferences, hosted monthly Climate Action Meetings centering environmental justice, and co-led the We the People community dialogue series in rural New York, focused on bridging political divides with empathy and curiosity.
Organizational Culture & Equity Work.
Devon brings deep experience in designing and facilitating conversations that center equity, inclusion, and workplace wellbeing. She co-led TCG’s internal Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Workgroup, co-curated the Gender Equity Think Tank, and developed internal assessments on workplace satisfaction and work-life balance. In the field, she co-designed and facilitated a Town Hall on sexual misconduct in the American theatre and supported affinity spaces for Women of TCG and caregiver professionals across the sector.
Small Group Facilitation & Mentorship.
Devon’s collaborative spirit shines through her work with emerging leaders and peer cohorts. For several years, she co-facilitated widely attended caregiver affinity spaces at multiple TCG National Conferences. She also guided youth-led programming through the Inheritors Guest Curation Team at the 2022 TCG Conference, facilitated Programming Councils with rotating national practitioners, and led the peer-driven planning model behind Executive Leader Summits—creating intentional spaces for reflection, connection, and fieldwide visioning.
